Visiting the Melaka Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary is never complete without having a photo taken at close range with some of our lovely members in the family. It is truly a place where nature speaks. The touch on our Burmese python is magical for it will change the way you look at these giant reptile forever - their ‘coolness’, their gentleness and most of all, the strength and mobility of these legless serpent will all be revealed once you have allowed them to curl around your shoulder.

Contrast it with our red-tailed boa with its stunning color and rather rough and muscular built-up. The giant green iguana standing elegantly on the old wood log making ordinary lizards look miniatures. Put together, they produce a picture of a completely different kind that one will treasure for years to come.
